Wix integration
Publish the articles Anomalia writes for you directly to your Wix blog — instead of (or alongside) the hosted blog. Once connected, every article you publish is created on your Wix site on auto-pilot.
Add a blog first
Your Wix site needs the Blog app installed before you connect — otherwise you'll hit a "no blog instanceId" error. Add it from the Wix App Market, then come back.
Setup
Open your Wix dashboard and look at the URL: the Site ID is the part right after
/dashboard/
. Copy it.
Click your profile avatar (top-right) → Account Settings → API Keys → Generate API key. Name it anything, e.g. "Blog Sync".
Expand All site permissions and enable both:
Wix BlogWix Contacts & Members
Wix emails you a verification code — confirm it, then copy the key. Wix shows the key only once.
Open your brand's Blog page → Integrations, click the ⋮ menu on the Wix row, paste your Site ID and API key, then flip the switch to turn Wix on as a publish destination. Choose whether articles publish immediately or land as drafts. Toggle it off any time to pause without losing your key.
From the Blog page, publish (or re-publish) any article. It appears in your Wix Dashboard → Blog. Re-publishing updates the same post instead of creating a duplicate.
Good to know
- Content format. Wix stores posts in its own rich-content format, so Anomalia converts the article (headings, paragraphs, lists, links) automatically. In-article images aren't carried over to Wix yet — the text and structure are.
- "No blog instanceId" error. Your site doesn't have the Blog app yet — add it, then reconnect.
- Publish fails. Confirm the key is still valid (and email-verified) and that the blog still exists on your site.
- Regenerated your key? The old one stops working immediately — paste the new key in the ⋮ menu.
