Blog hosting
Don't want to wire up a CMS? Anomalia hosts your blog for you. Every published article is live on a fast, SEO-ready site out of the box — no plugins, no theme setup.
It already works — for free
The moment you publish an article it's online at your brand's default URL (<code>anomalia.so/blog/your-brand</code>). We handle rendering, SSL, CDN, the sitemap and Article JSON-LD. Nothing to configure.
Use your own subdomain
Point a subdomain like <code>blog.yoursite.com</code> at us and the same blog serves from your domain — with the same SEO value as your main site. On the Blog page open the Domain section and follow these steps:
Enter your subdomain (e.g. <code>blog.yoursite.com</code>) and click Connect domain.
In your DNS provider add one CNAME record: <code>Host: blog</code> → the target we show you.
Tip: use a subdomain (e.g. <code>blog.</code>) — an apex/root domain needs an ALIAS/ANAME record instead.
Come back and click Verify. DNS + SSL can take a few minutes.
Make it yours
In the Customize section set the blog's name, description, accent colour, font and icon (used as the favicon). We control the base layout and mobile rendering so it always looks right; your accent and type make it feel on-brand.
Hosting vs. external CMS
Hosting is one of several publish destinations, not an either/or. You can keep the hosted blog on and push the same articles to Shopify, Webflow or Wix — or pull them into your own site with the Articles API. Publishing an article sends it to every destination you've turned on.
FAQ
- Does a subdomain hurt SEO? No — a subdomain carries the same SEO value, and every article ships semantic HTML, a sitemap and JSON-LD.
- What if I cancel? Export or push your articles to an external CMS or via the API any time — you're never locked in.
- Can I restyle it fully? The base layout is fixed for reliability; for full control over markup, use the Articles API and render it yourself.
